Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices of your favorite bread (sourdough, baguette, or whole grain)
  • 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fruit jam (such as raspberry, strawberry, or fig)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional, such as thyme or rosemary)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your broiler or a toaster oven to high.
  • Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast them lightly under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Once the bread is toasted, spread a thin layer of fruit jam on each slice.
  • Layer the brie cheese slices on top of the jam.
  • Place the toasts back under the broiler for another 2-3 minutes, or until the brie cheese is melted and bubbly.
