Ingredients
  

For the Fish:

  • 1 lb white fish fillets (e.g., cod, tilapia, or halibut)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Tacos:

  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage (red or green)
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

For the Sauce:

  • ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  • Season the fish fillets with chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook the fish in the skillet for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and break into large pieces.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, lime juice, hot sauce (if using), and garlic powder to make the sauce.
  • Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  • Assemble the tacos by layering the fish, shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro on each tortilla. Drizzle with the sauce and serve with lime wedges on the side.
