Ingredients
  

  • 1,5 lbs ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  • ½ cup ketchup (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (for glaze)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme (if using). Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a lightly greased loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard for the glaze. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the meat is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
