Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 8 small tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup sour cream (optional)
  • ¼ cup salsa (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
  • Season the beef with chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  • Pour in the beef broth and let the mixture simmer for 3-4 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend and the sauce to thicken.
  • Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
  • To assemble the tacos, spoon the beef mixture into each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, salsa, and fresh cilantro.
