  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  • Prepare the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangular shape, about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Add Cheese and Seasoning: Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly across the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Add parmesan cheese on top, then sprinkle garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper over the cheese.
  • Fold and Cut: Fold the dough over the cheese to create a "cheese pocket." Pinch the edges to seal. Cut the dough into 1-inch wide strips.
  • Brush and Bake: Place the cheese sticks on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  • Serve: Serve immediately with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
