Ingredients

  • 2 swordfish steaks (about 200g each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  • Marinate the Swordfish:
In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika. Brush the mixture over both sides of the swordfish steaks. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  • Preheat the Grill or Pan:
Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat. Lightly grease with a bit of oil.
  • Cook the Swordfish:
Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 130-135°F (55-57°C) for a perfectly juicy texture.
  • Serve & Enjoy:
Transfer the swordfish to a plate, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges. Pair it with a fresh salad, roasted vegetables, or a light pasta dish for a complete meal!

Notes

Pro Tip:
Avoid overcooking to keep the swordfish tender and juicy. It should be slightly firm but still moist inside!
